Steve Tennyson has approximately 40 years combined experience as a construction cost consultant, project supervisor and project manager in general contracting, project manager for a construction management firm, cost estimating and sales in the subcontracting and building construction material industries. Steve has collaborated on numerous value engineering studies and design charettes on federal projects. His construction background includes heavy construction, commercial and retail, shell building/interior tenant upfit in both public and private facilities and transportation infrastructure/civil. His civil project experience includes waterway/marine docks, government facilities (federal, state, and local) and DART mass transit projects. Steve is a member of and has a Value Management Associate (VMA) certification through SAVE International, an international professional value engineering society and is also a member of the Dallas/Fort Worth Section of AACE.

Steve has a working knowledge of the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers MII cost estimating software, and various Microsoft and other construction related softwares.
